Aparna Balamurali, the actress from Soorarai Pottru, is currently anticipating the release of her next film, Thankam, starring Vineeth Sreenivasan. Along with her team, she went to a college event for promotions, where she had to deal with a complex situation. Aparna was touched by a college student at the event.
Aparna Balamurali was welcomed to the stage by a student from one of the law colleges in attendance. He shook her hand while she was still seated, gave her a flower, forced her to stand up, and then attempted to wrap his arm around the actress. The actress, though, appeared to be really uncomfortable with it. She instantly backed away while expressing her displeasure with the student's improper conduct.
The college administration apparently did not condemn the student's behavior on stage even when the student afterward expressed an apology and justified his actions. On social media, the video has since gone viral, with people supporting the actress and criticizing the college.
The story of "Thankam," also known as Gold, is depicted in the expertly written crime story. Producing the movie in collaboration with the renowned Bhavana Studios is Fahadh Faasil's production Faasil and Friends. Additionally, Gireesh Kulkarni of Dangal and Ugly fame makes his South Indian film debut with this film.
