Original and Sensational: Mahesh Babu on Allu Arjun’s performance in Pushpa: The rise
Mahesh Babu loves to praise the films and actors that he likes. He has now praised Allu Arjun for his outstanding performance in the recently released Telugu film Pushpa: The Rise (2021).
The Tollywood superstar took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Allu Arjun as Pushpa is stunning, original and sensational… a stellar act. Sukumar proves again that his cinema is raw, rustic, and brutally honest… a class apart.”
He added, “Devi Sri Prasad, what can I say… you’re a rock star! Congrats to the entire team of Mythri Movie Makers. Proud of you guys!”
Replying to Mahesh Babu’s tweet, the stylish star wrote on Twitter, “Thank you very much Mahesh Babu Garu. So glad you liked the performance, everyone’s work, and the world of Pushpa. Heart-warming compliment. Humbled.”
Surprisingly, Srimanthudu (2015) the film which set the production house Mythri Movie Makers into films, had Mahesh Babu as the lead. The actor has also worked with Sukumar in 1: Nenokkadine.
Pushpa: The Rise is the first installment of the planned duology. The film was released on December 17 and secured a big box office opening. It also hit multiple box office records. It has earned over ₹300 crore worldwide.
Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil, Fahadh Faasil, Dhananjaya, and Anasuya Bharadwaj are also in the film and all of them are expected to star in part two as well.
