Ponniyin Selvan 2: Makers Announce The Release Date Of The First Song ‘Aga Naga’ Starring Trisha Krishnan & Karthi
Mani Ratnam's masterpiece 'Ponniyin Selvan I,' starring Aishwarya Rai, Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, and Trisha Krishnan, was a mega-blockbuster. As promised, the sequel to Ponniyin Selvan will be released this summer. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the second installment's trailer. The first film grossed 400 crores worldwide.
The narrative, performances of the actors, and cinematography of the film all earned high accolades. Mani Ratnam's vision made everything in the film seem larger than life. Fans are excited for the debut of the film's second installment. As we await the trailer release, the makers of PS 2 are kicking off the promotions of the film by releasing the first song from the film.
Ponniyin Selvan 2’ First Song
The film's first track, ‘Aga Naga’, will be released on March 20. The song s written by AR Rahman and is performed by Shakthisree Gopalan. The lyrics were penned by Ilango Krishnan. The announcement poster depicts Trisha as Kundavai standing with a sword and Karthi's vandhiyathevan kneeling with his eyes chained shut. The song will also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

About Ponniyin Selvan II
Mani Ratnam, Elango Kumaravel, and B Jeyamohan adapted the film from Kalki Krishnamurthy's novel. Ponniyin Selvan was directed by Ravi Varman and produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions. AR Rahman composed the music. Editor A Sreekar Prasad and production designer Thota Tharani are among the technical staff members. Ponniyin Selvan 2 will be released in theatres globally on April 28, 2023.
