Prabhas to collaborate with Maruthi on a new project?
There are rumours going around social media that Prabhas will soon star in a Maruthi film and fans cannot contain it. The Telugu actor has a busy schedule till 2024 with a line-up of more than four pan-Indian movies being made on a sky-high budget.
Reacting to rumours, Maruthi wrote on Twitter, “Rumours are coming in about my future project, title, genre, and music director. Time will tell. Thanks for your support and encouragement. Be careful.”
Maruthi last helmed the 2021 film Manchi Rojulochaie, starring Santosh Sobhan and Mehreen Pirzada.
Apparently, the rumours aren't completely untrue. The Bahubali (2015) actor has joined hands with the producer, DVV Danayya, for a film, and the producer has been searching for the right director. Maruthi and Danayya had a meeting. Danayya penned down an entertainer, considering Prabhas. However, the two have yet to meet to confirm the script before breaking the final news to fans. The title Raja Deluxe has also been confirmed.
After the postponement of the release of Prabhas's upcoming film, Radhe Shyam, due to the rise in the number of Omicron cases, fans are waiting for the new release date of the film. His other upcoming projects are Adipurush, Salaar, Spirit, and Project K. He is currently working on Nag Ashwin's Project K, wherein he will star opposite Deepika Padukone.
