Pushpa helmer Sukumar calls Sai Pallavi “Lady Pawan Kalyan”
At the pre-release event for Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu on February 27, Pushpa (2021) director Sukumar gave a statement that made actress Sai Pallavi blush. When Sukumar mentioned Sai Pallavi, her fans erupted in applause and refused to let up. Sukumar couldn't complete his speech, so he compared her fame to Pawan Kalyan's. The Shyam Singha Roy (2021) actress was all smile at the event.
“Sai Pallavi seems to be the Lady Pawan Kalyan, as I see people never stop adoring her", Sukumar said, indicating that Sai Pallavi has as much following as Pawan Kalyan has, in the Telugu states.
“I wanted to say this in person. But, now that I got a chance, here we go. To reject endorsements which promote fixated beauty standards, shows what kind of a human you are. I appreciate you for that Sai Pallavi", Sukumar said.
As Sai Pallavi's fans kept shouting for her, Sai Pallavi walked towards Sukumar and said, “Whatever you want to tell, please tell me in person.”
"Sai Pallavi is so humble that she wants me to say this in person, as you people are not stopping at all. But, I will have to appreciate her for what she is", Sukumar continued, as he addressed the gathering.
Kishore Tirumala's Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu will be released in theatres on March 4th. Sharwanand, Rashmika Mandanna, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Khushbu, and Urvashi play pivotal roles in the romantic comedy.
