R Madhavan's first film as a filmmaker, Rocketry, was a labor of love. He played the lead part in addition to writing, producing, and directing it. He went through extensive make-up to achieve the old-age look of former aerospace engineer Nambi Narayanan. However, Amazon Prime Video recently announced that the film will stream on their platform from July 26.
The critics' reactions to the release of Rocketry were mixed. The movie is reportedly now a lucrative business for its financiers at the box office. The movie's box office receipts have not yet been disclosed by Madhavan in an official manner. However, the actor-director celebrated his accomplishment with Nambi Narayanan and his family by cutting a cake, and he posted a touching photo of the celebration.
