For decades, Mohanlal and veteran director Joshiy have been delighting audiences with blockbuster films. The team is returning with a new film titled ‘Rambaan’. However, this time the writer will be actor-writer Chemban Vinod Jose.
A concept picture of Mohanlal standing atop a luxury automobile, confronting an abstract mix of buildings and highways, was used to unveil the film's title. He may also be seen clutching an assault weapon in his left hand and a massive sledgehammer in his right. The actor was dressed in his signature ‘Veshti’ appearance, which everyone enjoyed.

Take A Look at the Official Announcement:
Reports of Mohanlal and Joshiy reuniting have been circulating since the filmmaker made his comeback in 2019 with the film ‘Porinju Mariam Jose.’ Aside from that, there were various stories about Chemban Vinod Jose creating a narrative for Joshiy, but it wasn't verified as a Mohanlal film till recently.
Chemban Vinod Jose is producing the film alongside Einstin Zac Paul and Shailesh R Singh. Minnal Murali cinematographer Sameer Thahir will handle the camera for the Mohanlal-Joshiy film, while Mahaan editor Vivek Harshan will edit.
Vishnu Vijay will compose the music for the film, whose soundtrack for Tovion Thomas' ‘Thallumaala’ was a huge success. The Mohanlal film is set to be released in 2025, in time for the Vishu and Easter festivities.
Mohanlal on his Professional Front:
Mohanlal was most recently seen in the summer blockbuster Jailer. Mohanlal had an important cameo appearance in Rajinikanth's film, as did Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar. Mohanlal will also appear in the Malayalam courtroom drama film ‘Neru’, which will be helmed by ‘Drishyam’ director Jeethu Joseph.
