Helmed by Vamshi Paidipally, Thalapathy 66 marks the first collaboration between Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna. Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the leading lady opposite Thalapathy Vijay in the movie, couldn’t contain her excitement and expressed her happiness on being a part of the project through a post on Instagram.
She has also won hearts with her caption, which read, “Ok now this feels like something else… Been watching sir for years and years and now to do everything that I’ve been wanting to do.. act with him, dance with him, take his nazar, talk to him.. everything .. yaaaaay finally! An absolute delight.”
On the professional front, Rashmika was last seen in ‘Pushpa’ with Allu Arjun. She has two upcoming Bollywood films in her kitty. She has Vikas Bahl’s ‘Goodbye’ co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta and Pavail Gulati. The actress is also a part of ‘Mission Majnu’ where she will be seen sharing the screen space with none other than Sidharth Malhotra.
