The song from RRR was nominated with songs from the Crawdads Sing, Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio, Top Gun: Maverick, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Rihanna was also nominated with director Ryan Coogler, and composer Ludwig Goransson was present at the 80th edition of the Golden Globes. After the award announcement, she congratulated the RRR team on their historic win. A video of Rihanna congratulating the RRR team is surfacing online.
A video surfaced online in which Rihanna congratulated the RRR team. Rihanna was walking near the RRR table at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles. She was dressed in a black gown, with velvet gloves and a wrap cape. Rihanna turns to director SS Rajamouli and other RRR team, wishing them congratulations with a flying kiss. Most of the team and their family were seen collecting the interaction moments on the phone. Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift were absent at the awards.
Later SS Rajamouli reacts to the win on Twitter and tweets, showcasing his emotion. He wrote, "SPEECHLESS (folded hands emoji) Music truly knows no boundaries.
