South superstar Ram Charan is busy promoting his film, 'RRR', in USA. Meanwhile, he is also interacting with local media personnels ahead of the most prestigious Academy Awards ceremony scheduled for March 12, 2023. Recently in a video doing the rounds, Ram can be seen sharing his all time favourite movies. He was questioned about the movies people should watch after 'RRR' and he had some interesting inputs.
He said, “I can start with 'The Notebook' and then 'Terminator 2', which I probably watched fifty times. That’s how much I love them. 'Gladiator' and all (Quentin) Tarantino films are also on the list. 'The Inglorious Basterds' is one of my favourites.”
He also mentioned some regional and Bollywood films, “There are many classics which have come from South India such as 'Daana Veera Soora Karna', 'Baahubali' and my own film 'Rangasthalam', which are among my all-time favourites. 'Mr India', directed by Shekar Kapoor, is also among my top picks.” He also mentioned having a crush on Julia Roberts and Catherine Zeta-Jones as a teen.
The superstar will soon be seen in a political thriller directed by filmmaker Shankar Shanmugam. He also has 'Buchibabu Sana', 'Narthan' and other notable director's films in his pipeline.
The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the 'RRR' has been nominated for the Oscars in the Best Original Song category. Meanwhile, singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaalabhairava will perform live at the Oscars. Still, there is no confirmation about whether Ram Charan and Jr NTR will also perform.
