SA Chandrasekar father of Thalapathy Vijay slams director of the film :Beast relied solely on Vijay’s stardom
Helmed by popular director Nelson Dilipkumar, “Beast” did wonders even after clashing with Yash's KGF Chapter 2. However audience was expected more from the film and this there were many mixed reviews of the same. Now Thalapathy Vijay's father have expressed his displeasure and slammed the director for it’s bad screenplay.
SA Chandrasekar in an interview said, "I enjoyed Arabic Kuthu like a die-hard fan would. But, Beast relied solely on Vijay's stardom. The film was a serious subject about international terrorist organisations. There should be magic in the screenplay. Where is it? The director has to study how the military functions. He should know how a RAW agent behaves. That was missing."
Apart from that he highly appreciated other components of the film and of course his son, “There’s no doubt that Beast will become a hit. However, the film worked because of a music director, a fight master, a dance master, an editor and a hero.”
