Sai Pallavi remembers writing a love letter during her teenage years and reveals, “I was caught and my parents hit me hard’
In a recent chat, Sai Pallavi and Rana Daggubati shared funny stories from their teenage years.

Sai Pallavi, who is now enjoying the success of her film Virata Parvam opposite Rana Daggubati, recently recounted a humorous story from her youth. The actress claimed that once her parents learned about a love letter she had written to a boy at school, they beat her. Her openness is capturing people's attention online, and she also recalls how she was just like the rest of us at school.
Sai was asked if she has ever written a love letter for anyone in real life, to which the actress answered, “In this film, I wrote them as per the director’s instructions. But in real life, I wrote a letter just once. I wrote a letter to a boy, it was in my childhood. Maybe when I was in my 7th standard. I was caught. My parents hit me hard, a lot.”
Further, Rana Daggubati was asked the same question, to which he replied, “Well, I wrote one to my Grandfather in Karamchedu in my childhood. That was all. I didn’t write letters to anyone after that.”
On June 17, Virata Parvam was launched in theatres to tepid reviews from viewers. Currently, Netflix is streaming the movie. Comrade Ravanna, a revolutionary writer known by the pen name Aranya, was portrayed by actor Rana Daggubati, while his admirer Vennela was portrayed by leading lady Sai Pallavi. The film, which was directed by Venu Udugula, will discuss an epic love story set against the backdrop of the Naxalite Movement during the time in the Telangana region.
