In order to seek blessings, Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently visited a temple as she gets ready for the release of her mythical drama, Shaakuntalam. On each of the 600 steps of the shrine, the diva lit a camphor candle. On social media, there are pictures surfacing of the actor praying while dressed simply in a salwar kameez. On February 13, she paid a visit to the Palani Murugan Temple in Tamil Nadu, also known as the Arulmigu Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple. She was accompanied by the crew of filmmaker C Prem Kumar. After doing her personal darshan, Samantha prayed for happy and healthy times.
The brave woman always kept her mask on because she is receiving treatment for myositis. Recently, Samantha published a photo on Instagram's story feature of her hanging out with her friends Rahul Ravindra and Nandu Reddy as she receives myositis therapy at home.
For the second time, Samantha’s most-awaited mythological film, Shaakuntalam’s release got pushed. The film is now gearing up for an April 17th release. In the meantime, she is filming for Raj & DK’s official adaptation of The Russo Brothers’ Citadel which will see her and Varun Dhawan in lead roles. Apart from this, she is set to resume her shooting for the love drama with Vijay Deverakonda, titled as ‘Kushi’.
