Samantha Prabhu, one of the most popular actresses in the South, has progressed after revealing last year that she has a rare disease called "myositis." She is receiving treatment and returning to work at the same time. Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are currently filming Citadel, their new Indian drama series. According to reports, the actress's character has a lot of action and undergoes heavy training sessions for the same.
Samantha injures herself while shooting
Samantha Ruth Prabhu posted a photo of her injured hands from the Citadel set to her Instagram story. Her hands had cuts and blood smears on them. Sources reports say that Samantha will take part in some intense action scenes for the web series, and the producers have hired a Hollywood action director to oversee her martial arts training. Dropping the pictures, she wrote, “PERKS OF ACTION”
Citadel and its versions
Citadel, directed by Raj and DK, is the Indian version of the international series that is first created by the Russo Brothers. For the uninitiated, the cast of the international edition of the series features Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Richard Madden, and Stanley Tucci. The Russo Brothers' grandiose and expensive spy world television series is called Citadel. Citadel, starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, is one of the numerous spin-offs that will be produced in different nations. The lead actor in the Indian Citadel film is Varun Dhawan.

Sam’s upcoming releases
Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda are cast together once more in the Shiva Nirvana-directed movie "Kushi." Samantha's much-awaited mythological film, Shaakuntalam, is set for release. The movie will now be out in cinemas on April 14.
