Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Yashoda to land in theatres on August 12
The much-awaited film Yashoda, starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role, has finally secured a date for its theatrical release.
Directed by director duo Hari and Harish and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, the film will arrive in cinemas on August 12 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The makers took to social media on Tuesday and made an official announcement regarding the release of the film.
Showering praises on Samantha Ruth Prabhu, producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad said, “Samantha has given a phenomenal performance not just in acting but also in the fight sequences of Yashoda. We are simultaneously releasing the movie in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam & Hindi on August 12th. The shoot will be wrapped up by May end. This Action Thriller has a plot that can pull national-level audiences to theatres. Finishing a major schedule on a massive set recently, we are heading to another shooting schedule in Kodaikanal.”
Aside from Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the upcoming film also stars Unni Mukundan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sampath Raj, Rao Ramesh, Divya Sripada, Kalpika Ganesh, Priyanka Sharma, and Praveen Dacharam.
The technical team includes cinematographer M Sukumar and editor Marthand K Venkatesh.
