Rashmika Mandanna is undoubtedly one of the most popular and loved actresses in the film industry. After her role in Pushpa, the actress has turned out to be a household name. She has been bagging films one after another and is now set to rule in Bollywood too. She is set to make her Hindi film debut with Goodbye in which she will be starring alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Neena Gupta. Before stepping into Bollywood, Rashmika had some major South hits like Geeta Govindam and Dear Comrade in which she romanced south’s heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda. Her romance and chemistry with him were widely loved by the audience but at the same time, she also received trolls for one of her scenes which was a kissing shot with Vijay in the film Dear Comrade.

Rashmika Mandanna admitted that she found it challenging to move past that stage after receiving backlash for her bold sequences in Dear Comrade. She referred to them as her difficult days saying, “I'm not sure how I made it through that phase. I have a pronounced sense of belonging and am quite emotional. Naturally, once everything occurred, everyone called me and assured me that everything was great. But there was a lot of hitting going on. There were a lot of painful events taking place, and I would read painful things. I would also frequently have dreams in which you know you feel alone, that everyone has abandoned you, and you are screaming out to them. I have no idea what it was or how it was, but that was a recurring dream. With such nightmares, I would weep myself to sleep or even wake up in tears.”

Rashmika’s future projects

In the meantime, Rashmika also has other films in her pocket including Screw Dheela with Tiger Shroff, and Pushpa’s sequel with Allu Arjun. She is currently shooting for her film with Ranbir Kapoor which is Animal directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. She will also star opposite Siddharth Malhotra in Mission Majnu.
