It was not a great year for me personally and little did I know things were going to change so much for me professionally... I look back at that version of me and I so wish I could go back in time give her a giant hug and show her where she would eventually end up.”

On the professional front, Shruti Haasan will next be seen with South star Prabhas in Salaar, an upcoming action movie helmed by Prashanth Neel. The drama, which is being made by Vijay Kiragandur under the auspices of Hombale Films, will also have significant performances by Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, and Easwari Rao. She will also be included in the international movie "The Eye," which Daphne Schmon will be directing.
