Once again, the RRR directors are at the top of the conversation list.
First, the movie was a success, and then it won a Golden Globe for its popular song, Naatu Naatu. As if that weren't enough, the film's director and the song's composer also shared photos with Lincoln director Steven Spielberg. Rajamouli is awestruck by the Hollywood director after the RRR director shared two pictures from his fanboy moment. Composer MM Keeravani, also shared photos of himself with Steve and his thoughts on Naatu Naatu, the Golden Globes winner for best song.
When the two directors initially met at a party thrown by Universal Pictures, SS Rajamouli experienced a star-struck moment after seeing Steven Spielberg. Rajamouli may be seen in a picture he posted to Twitter holding his face and feigning surprise as he approaches Steven. He is accompanied by the musician MM Keeravani. The second image he shared shows the trio posing for the camera. Sharing the pictures on his official social media handle, Rajamouli wrote, “I just met GOD!!!”
The theme song from the film RRR-Naatu Naatu took home the Best Original Score trophy at the 80th Golden Globe Awards. The 80th Golden Globe Awards were held just a few days prior in Los Angeles with comedian Jerrod Carmichael serving as host. By winning the Best Director Award from the New York Film Critics Circle, SS Rajamouli adds another achievement to his record (NYFCC). A standing ovation was also given to the director, who added that RRR was beloved in the West just as much as it was in India.
