Mahesh Babu’s brother-in-law Sudheer Babu recently gave an interview to a leading publication. In the interview, the actor revealed why he refused to feature in the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra.
The actor said, "There was nothing wrong. I loved the script but had prior commitments in the Telugu film industry. I like taking on bigger responsibilities for a project. It was an interesting role, but I see myself doing a little bit of stunt work and being agile."
He also revealed that there was an issue with time commitment for the film. He said, "At the same point of time, I was offered a part that nobody had seen me before. Brahmastra needed a certain number of days, and Sammonhanam was a bigger responsibility with fewer days, so I chose the latter."
"Brahmastra was a huge opportunity, but I got the biggest hit of my career with Sammohanam. Eventually, I ended up doing 3 films with the same director," he added further.
However, even if Sudheer had taken part in Brahmastra, it wouldn’t have been his debut in the Hindi film industry as he had already worked in Baaghi (2016) with Tiger Shroff.
