The actor recently revealed that he might appear in Lokesh and Thalapathy's Vijay during the press conference for his production film Thankam. Additionally, it is said that Fahadh will play a cameo role. When speaking with the media, Fahadh was questioned about his involvement in Thalapathy 67. To which he replied, "Since the movie is a part of the LCU, I might be a part of it [Thalapathy 67], he remarked." He also discussed a stand-alone movie based on his Vikram character Amar.

Thalapathy 67 marks the second collaboration between Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj. The movie revolves around and ties to the director's four movies Kaithi, Master, and Vikram (Lokesh Cinematic Universe).
