The much-awaited film ‘Suriya 42’ headlined by south superstar Suriya finally drops a motion poster. ‘Suriya 42’ is a 3D period drama, helmed by Shruthi Siva. Recently the makers held a grand launch to unveil the poster. The short clip shows a glimpse of a periodic-action-drama. The film has a strong background score that fits well with the war visuals.

The makers have been hush about the details of the project. So far we know that the film will definitely be in the periodic genre. Fans of the Superstar are eager to see him perform in this genre. The makers have confirmed that the 3D film will be available to the audience in ten languages.

Actor Suriya proudly took to his Twitter handle to share the announcement. Suriya wrote, "We seek all your good wishes as we begin our adventure!"
About the film
The film which is billed as “The Prestigious Mega Project", will also feature Bollywood’s Disha Patani essaying the role of the female lead. The cast also included Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and Anand Rah in supporting roles. The film is made on a grand scale and is bankrolled by UV Creations. The film so far has been shot in Goa and Chennai. The second phase of shooting will commence on the 13th of September in Goa. Reportedly, they have scheduled a grand fight sequence involving 250 bouncers.
