Tamil star Vijay to set-up a school to provide free education to children in poverty
Vijay is already running a free restaurant in several parts of Tamil Nadu where poor and needy people are served free food.

According to reports, approximately 263 million children around the globe do not have access to school. Thankfully, there are several celebrities who are making some genuine efforts to change the situation and work in this direction.
The latest to donate some of his time, energy, and efforts to the great cause is none other than Tamil-cinema superstar Thalapathy Vijay. The actor, who has also been helping those in need through his fan club Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, is reportedly building a new school to provide free education to less fortunate children who are not able to pay the school fees but are willing to take education.
If reports are to be believed, Vijay is building the school Thiruporur, Chennai. He is expected to announce the same soon. It feels great to see that there are celebrities who not only understand the responsibility of the status that they hold in the society, but also work towards making a difference in people’s life.
This is not the first time when Vijay has shown his human side. The superstar is already running a free restaurant in several parts of Tamil Nadu where poor and needy people are served free food. He runs these centers through his fan clubs.
