Even before 'Leo' was released, it was revealed that Thalapathy Vijay's next film will be directed by Venkat Prabhu, who is known for films like ‘Mankatha’, ‘Maanaadu’, and 'Custody.' Since the film's announcement, there has been a lot of buzz about it.

It was also recently revealed that the film's producers have cast veteran actor Mic Mohan in a key role. According to the latest rumours, Mic Mohan would portray the primary antagonist in the film. However, no formal confirmation has been provided.

About ‘Mic Mohan’:

Mic Mohan is a seasoned actor who has primarily worked in Tamil films; however, he has also appeared in films in other South Indian languages. He is most known for his portrayal as Chandrakumar in Mani Ratnam's 1986 romantic drama film 'Mouna Ragam'.

Mic Mohan directed and performed in his 100th film, ‘Anbulla Kadhalukku’, in 1999, before taking a 9-year break. He made a comeback in the 2008 film ‘Sutta Pazham.’ Mic Mohan said this year that he will return to the big screen after a seven-year hiatus with the film ‘Haraa’’, directed by Vijay Sri G. The cast of the film includes ‘Charu Haasan,’ ‘Yogi Babu’, ‘Suresh Menon’, ‘Deepa’, ‘Mime Gopi’, and many others.

'Thalapathy68' is Vijay and Venkat Prabhu's debut collaboration. According to reports, Thalapathy Vijay will portray both a father and a son in the film. In fact, the actor and director team just flew to Los Angeles to investigate the anti-aging technique.

Thalapathy68 is rumoured to have an ensemble cast led by Meenakshi Chaudhary and Priyanka Mohan, with SJ Suryah and Prabhu Deva also playing important parts. Official confirmation of the film's cast is still pending. The film is produced by AGS Entertainment, while the soundtrack is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

According to reports, the film began filming in early October, with a song sequence starring Prabhu Deva and Prashanth. It is also said that the team has relocated to South Africa to film an action sequence.
