After months of legal battle, the Madras High Court finally dismissed the FIR against Jai Bhim, Suriya, Jyothika and director TJ Gnanavel. This happened just a few days ago.

To inform the reader, the Vanniyar Sangam has issued a legal notice seeking an apology for showing them, the Vanniyar Community, in a bad light. They had asked that some scenes be removed and a compensation of Rs 5 crores.
