Urvashi Rautela to feature in a special dance number for Ravi Teja & Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya
Glam actress Urvashi Rautela is all set to make a guest appearance in a special dance number for the upcoming film Waltair Veerayya. The movie, which stars Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja and Shruti Hassan, has been directed by Bobby Kolli (KS Ravindra).
As per latest reports, Urvashi is all set to shake a leg with megastar Chiranjeevi in the foot-tapping number. The song has been scored by Devi Shri Prasad whereas choreographer Shekhar master will take care of the dance moves of Urvashi and Chiranjeevi.
While the excitement around the song has only piqued the curiosity of movie lovers, it is to be seen if the oomph quotient of this song matches up to Urvashi's last hit number 'Saara Zamaana' from the 2017 film Kaabil.
Now coming to Waltair Veerayya, the Telugu action flick has been produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The starcast incudes Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, Catherine Tresa and Bobby Simha.
Filming commenced in December 2021, with a majority of the shooting taking place in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
Waltair Veerayya also marks the reunion of Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja after 22 years since Annayya (2000). As per reports, Teja plays Chiranjeevi's brother- a police officer disguised as a mafia don.
On the other hand, Shruti Haasan has been paired opposite Chiranjeevi, while Catherine Tresa is playing Teja's wife.
Noteworthy, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was approached to play the antagonist, but he couldn't do the film and got replaced by Bobby Simha. Reportedly, Malayalam actor Biju Menon was also offered a role for the film, however, he too couldn't be onboard.
Waltair Veerayya is all set to release in January 2023.
