Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi spent their first Diwali as a married couple. Wearing festive attire, the newlyweds celebrated this joyous occasion with their family. Varun Tej himself tweeted a photo from yesterday in which he was seen with his wife, mother, sister Niharika Konidela, and father, Nagendra Babu.

Another photo from last night, uploaded by Ram Charan's sister, Sushmita Konidela, shows the Konidela family members celebrating Diwali together. Ram Charan, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Varun Tej, Lavanya Tripathi, Sai Dharam Tej, Panja Vaisshnav Tej, Allu Sneha Reddy, and many others appeared in the post.

Varun Tej and Lavanya married earlier this month in an intimate ceremony attended by just close friends and family. The couple's wedding was elaborately celebrated in Italy's gorgeous Tuscan region. The star-studded ceremony, performed against gorgeous backgrounds, was one of the year's most anticipated events.

Following the wedding, the couple had a celebration in Hyderabad for extra co-stars and friends, who were joined by numerous prominent visitors who came to congratulate the newlyweds.

Interestingly, there were prior claims that Varun Tej and Lavanaya Tripathi had struck a deal with Netflix and sold their wedding film to the OTT site for a hefty sum. Varun Tej's public relations team quickly stated to entertainment industry insiders that these claims were completely false and should not be believed.

Varun Tej was recently seen leaving Hyderabad airport for his next film assignment following his private wedding with Lavanya Tripathi. The actor was most recently featured in ‘Gandheevadhari Arjuna’, an action thriller film. Praveen Sattaru directed the film, which starred Sakshi Vaidya, Nassar, Narain, Vinay Rai, Manish Chaudhari, and many more. The film earned overwhelmingly good reviews from both reviewers and spectators.

The actor's next appearance will be in the forthcoming Hindi-Telugu bilingual film ‘Operation Valentine.’ Varun Tej's Hindi debut will also be marked by the film. The film, directed by Shakti Pratap Singh and starring Manushi Chhillar, is set against the backdrop of the Air Force and explores the issues encountered by the armed services. ‘Operation Valentine’, which is set to be released on December 8th, will reintroduce Varun Tej to the big screen.
