All eyes are on Vijay Deverakonda and his forthcoming ventures following the debacle that was Liger. The actor revealed on Sunday that he will be working once more with Parasuram Petla, the director of his box office success Geetha Govindam. This project will be produced by Dil Raju and Shirish, and it will mark his first partnership with Vijay.

Dil Raju, through his company Sri Venkateshwara Cinemas, is the financier of the untitled movie. The movie's launch took place on February 5th. The creators announced the exciting collaboration on Twitter and stated, “Very happy to announce that we are collaborating with blockbuster combination of The #VijayDeverakonda TheDeverakonda & ParasuramPetla for our upcoming film. The cast and crew information will be released within the following few days. In the upcoming days, further promotional material is anticipated to be released by the producers. For the unversed, the acting and directing team's 2018 hit comedy Geetha Govindam was a box office success. Rashmika Mandanna featured opposite Vijay in the romantic comedy movie. The producers set the record straight by stating that this wasn't a Geetha Govindam sequel but rather a new script.
Vijay’s work front
The upcoming romance comedy Kushi will feature Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda on screen together. The drama is being funded by Mythri Movie Makers and is being conceptualized and directed by Shiva Nirvana. Due to Samantha's health, the movie's filming has been postponed. However, the crew recently started filming again, and Kushi is scheduled to be released this year in 2023. In addition, Vijay Deverakonda and Gautam Tinnanuri have a compelling movie scheduled. The actor's upcoming film, tentatively named VD12, would see him take on the character of a police officer.
