Vijay Sethupathi confirms his role in Jawan alongside Shah Rukh Khan; denies his involvement in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2

One of the South's most gifted actors is Vijay Sethupathi. He leads a very modest life away from the spotlight and social media. He has starred in a number of well-known and popular Indian movies, including Master (2021), Vikram (2022), 96 (2018), and Vikram Vedha (2017). Since the huge success of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Vikram, which also starred Kamal Haasan and Fahadh Faasil, the actor has been in high demand for other pan-Indian projects. The publicist for actor Vijay Sethupathi provided an update on the actor's future movies recently.

The publicist’ tweet read, “This is to clarify that #VijaySethupathi sir is doing a negative role only in #ShahRukhKhan sir’s Jawan at this point and that he is not playing a negative role in any other Telugu projects as is being speculated.”

This is the first official announcement on Vijay Sethupathi's involvement in Atlee Kumar's Jawan, a pan-Indian film starring Shah Rukh Khan.

With thrilling action sequences and an Indian actor cast, Jawan is considered to be a spectacular event film. Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan's first film totally shot in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, will be released on June 2, 2023. This project was significantly delayed by the coronavirus, but we can now say with certainty that the movie will be released in theatres next year.
