Vivek Oberoi wraps up filming his multilingual film Kaduva

Actor Vivek Oberoi has finished filming his multilingual film Kaduva. The upcoming film also stars Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. The two actors reunite for the period action film after the massive success of Lucifer (2019), which starred Mohanlal in the lead role.
Kaduva is directed by Shaji Kailas. It is produced by Supriya Menon under the banner Prithviraj Productions and distributed by Listin Stephen under the banner Magic Frames. The team began shooting in April last year. However, the filming faced several setbacks due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As per reports, Oberoi plays a parallel lead in the upcoming project. Set in the 90s, the film focuses on a deep conflict between two strong-headed men. Intoxicated by power, his character is an otherwise conscientious character, the actor had earlier said.
Abinandhan Ramanujam handles the cinematography and Jakes Bejoy composes the original songs and background score. Shameer Muhammed is attached as an editor.
Though the makers have not locked any official date for the release of the film, Kaduva is expected to enter cinemas in the second half of the year.
