Will AR Murugadoss end his sabbatical from direction with Suriya's Ghajini 2?

Director AR Murugadoss has been missing from the scene for quite some time now. It's been three years since the ace filmmaker called 'cut'. However, if reports are to be believed, then Murugadoss will be returning to direction soon with Suriya starrer Ghajini 2, a sequel to Ghajini which released in 2005.
Although there is no official confirmation regarding the same, movie lovers are excited at the prospect of Suriya and Murugadoss reuniting for Ghajini 2.
There is also uncertainty whether the sequel will have a new story or carry forward the plot from the first part.
For the unversed, Ghajini was produced by Salem Chandrasekharan. The action thriller featured Asin and Suriya with Nayanthara, Pradeep Rawat and Riyaz Khan in the pivatol roles.
The storyline revolves around a businessman who suffers from anterograde amnesia and is on a spree to avenge the murder of his girlfriend.
