After winning raves for his sterling work in historical shows like Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani and Chandra Nandini, teen actor Siddharth Nigam has bagged yet another big-ticket show, titled Alladin. To be produced under the banner of Peninsula Pictures Private Limited, the new show stars Nigam in the title role of Alladin. The light-hearted comedy show will hit the airwaves on SAB TV.
According to our reliable source, the work on the big-budgeted series has already begun. After locking Siddharth for the central character, the casting team is now busy finalizing the rest of the star cast. Once the casting process draws to a close in next couple of weeks, the show will mount the shooting floor.
Apart from bankrolling Alladin for SAB TV, Peninsula Pictures, headed by Nissar Parvez and Alind Shrivastava, is also producing the upcoming Star Plus show, The King’s Daughter.
