Come November, Ikyawann will replace Ekta Kapoor’s Chandra-Nandni!
According to reports, Ekta Kapoor’s show Chandra Nandini is finally ending in the month of November.

If you are an avid admirer of Ekta Kapoor’s historical show Chandra Nandini, brace yourself for some bad news. According to reports, the popular show is all set to bid adieu to the audience. Star Plus will air the final episode of the show in the month of November. Chandra Nandini will be replaced by a new show called Ikyavann. Featuring Prachi Tehlan and Namish Taneja in important roles, the show is being produced by Suzana Ghai for her banner Panorama Entertainment.
Starring Rajat Tokas and Shweta Basu Prasad in lead roles, Chandra Nandini was launched with much fanfare by Ekta Kapoor . It did really well in the beginning but as the story progressed, the numbers started plummeting soon, leaving the channel with no choice except axing the show. And now, Ikyavann is all set to take its slot.
Talking about Ikyavann, the new show is a family drama set against the backdrop of Ahmedabad. The story of the show revolves around a beautiful tall girl who is the 51st child in the family and hence is considered to be very lucky. But a tragedy befell the family on her birth. What happens with her while growing up is what forms the crux of the story.
Actress Prachi Tehlan, last seen in Diya Aur Baati Hum plays the lead role in the show. Actor Namish Taneja of Swaragini fame plays the male lead.
