The popular Zee TV show Ek Tha Raja, Ek Thi Rani, which went on air in July 2015, is all set to bid adieu to the audience. According to sources, the show will air its last episode on 4th July. Produced by Sphereorigins, KTRETR was toplined by Siddhant Karnick and Drashti Dhami upon its launch. The show became popular within no time. But TRPs nosedived when the lead pair decided to opt out of the project, leaving the producers in a fix. After the exit of Siddhant Karnick and Drashti Dhami, the makers had no option but to introduce a new couple to take the show forward. So, a new season was launched with the fresh pairing of Sartaj Gill and Eisha Singh. But when the new season failed to strike a chord with the audience, the makers launched a third season with a new track but continuing Sartaj and Eisha as the lead.
But now it is confirmed that the channel has decided to pull the plug on the show as it failed to improve its rating on TRP charts even after putting in so many efforts by the makers. The team of the show just shot the last episode of the show today, which will be beamed on 4th July. The show was currently being directed by well-known television director, Dev Dutt.
