Kalpesh Chauhan: Mrunal is my mentor; he is guiding me to get better work!
The actor talks about his friendship with television heartthrob, Mrunal Jain.

Actor Kalpesh Chauhan and Mrunal Jain have been friends for a while now. While it is rare to see such a strong bond between industry colleagues, the two have never let anything come between them. Talking about their relationship, Kalpesh says, “The best thing about Mrunal is that he is a silent friend, who stands by you whenever you want, without even knowing you, He never shows off whatever he does for others. He is so down to earth. Mrunal is my mentor, he is guiding me to get better work. I am lucky to have a friend like him.”
In fact, Kalpesh also got clicked by a photographer recommended by Mrunal recently. “Well, as an actor, I’ll be never satisfied with my work. I think I need to work more on me to be the best, but yes people loved my latest pictures. The photographer was recommended by Mrunal,” he says.
Kalpesh, who was last seen in the show Crime Patrol, has done shows like Savdhaan India, Humari Devrani, Suri and Chutta Chedda on Colors Gujarati, Tamas, a Gujarati play, Ballard Estate, a Gujarati play and Gujarati movies like Motabha and Janmdata.
Ask him what kind of work is he looking forward to doing, and he says, “I am looking forward to getting some good challenging roles in daily soaps and movies.”
