Aarambh, the costliest fantasy drama ever produced on Indian television, finally went on air on 24th June on Star Plus. As expected, the show garnered huge eyeballs and is being lauded for its never-seen-before magnificence and great performances by all actors. After watching the show, filmmaker Karan Johar could not contain his excitement and said a lot of good things about it. He called it a game changer in the Indian TV industry.
"Congratulations on what I hear is a huge game changer Shrishti Arya. Goldie Behl for ‘Aarambh'. Lots of love and huge success," Karan, who is often spotted on television hosting and judging various shows, tweeted recently.
Written by prolific writer K. V. Vijayendra Prasad of Baahubali fame, Aarambh stars Rajneesh Duggal and Karthika Nair in pivotal roles. Bollywood actresses Tanuja and Madhoo are also making their small screen debut with the finite series of 65 episodes. The show also stars Joy Sengupta and Haanssa Singh in important roles. Directed and co-produced by filmmaker Goldie Behl under Rose Audio Visuals, the big-budget epic fantasy show narrates the clash of the Dravidians and Aryans civilizations.
