Rashmi Sharma Telefilms' ‘Santoshi Maa’ to end soon?

After their most successful show, Saath Nibhana Saathiya, went off air a couple of months ago, another leading show from the stable of Rashmi Sharma Telefilms is, reportedly, going to end very soon. Yes, we are talking about the mythological series, Santoshi Maa, which airs on &TV. Reports are coming in that the channel has decided to ring the curtain down on the much-loved show.
It seems &TV is failing badly to retain its viewership as one show of the channel is going off air after the other. It was not long ago when the channel bid adieu to two of its shows Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi and Chupke Chupke. Both shows were launched with much fanfare but, owing to poor TRPs, the channel axed them within months of their premiere. Now, the third show, which is soon going to bid goodbye to the viewers is Santoshi Maa. Unlike Ek Vivaah Aisa Bhi and Chupke Chupke, Santoshi Maa has been a successful venture for the channel.
As per insiders, Santoshi Maa, which stars Gracy Singh and Ratan Rajput, will be replaced by a new show called Siddhivinayak. Produced by Studio B&M, it will have Nitin Goswami and Neha Saxena as the lead pair. It will be a love story set amid the enmity between the two families.
