‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ fame Rohit Suchanti bags ‘Pehredaar Piya Ki 2’!
Contrary to reports which claimed that Shantanu Maheshwari will play the male lead in the Pehredaar Piya Ki sequel, it is Saath Nibhaana Saathiya fame Rohit Suchanti who has bagged the part.

Before wrapping up their ambitious show Pehredaar Piya Ki immaturely due to unending controversies around its plotline, the makers of the show had said it loud and clear that they will return with a new season soon. And now, it seems, the right time has come for them to make a grand comeback. If the latest reports are to be believed, Shashi Sumeet Productions will soon launch the sequel of Pehredaar Piya Ki on Sony Entertainment Television. Recently, some media reports claimed that Khatron Ke Khiladi finalist Shantanu Maheshwari was cast to play the lead role of Ratan on the show. But all those stories were mere rumours as it is not Shantanu Maheshwari, but Saath Nibhaana Saathiya fame Rohit Suchanti who has bagged the male lead in the Pehredaar Piya Ki sequel.
Handsome hunk Rohit Suchanti will play grown-up Ratan on the show as its sequel will continue the story after a 12 years leap. His character will be shown as a foreign return. As expected, Rohit Suchanti will romance actress Tejasswi Prakash on the show. Besides Rohit, the makers have also roped in Krishndasi fame Siddharth Shivpuri to play the parallel lead and Swapnil Sharma, who played the role of Priya, has been replaced by Gauri Singh.
Rohit Suchanti will commence shooting for Pehredaar Piya Ki soon and the channel is planning to roll out the show in November.
