Shaad Randhawa joins the cast of Ekta Kapoor's fantasy show Chandrakanta!
Film actor Shaad Randhawa will now be seen in Ekta Kapoor's fantasy show, Chandrakanta on Colors.

Shaad Randhawa , who made his acting debut with Mohit Suri 's Woh Lamhe and went on to appear in successful films like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain , has been signed for Balaji Telefilms' popular fantasy show, Chandrakanta. Produced by Ekta Kapoor , the show airs on Colors and has been grabbing a lot of eyeballs ever since its premiere. Randhawa has been cast to play an important character on the show.
According to reports, Shaad's character on the show will be a negative one who falls in love with Chandrakanta ( Madhurima Tuli ). Later in the story, he will abduct Chandrakanta when his feelings are not reciprocated.
Earlier, telly-town was buzzing with the news that the makers have roped in Randhawa to play the character of Shivdutt. But the latest reports are coming in that since Ekta Kapoor 's version of Chandrakanta has no such character as Shivdutt, how can there be a casting for the same. Shaad will play a negative character on the daily, not Shivdutt.
