It is quite a rarity in a television world that, a daily serial, having a socially prejudices attached to the main plot, taken well by the audience! And to top it off that same serial completing 300 episode is really a milestone crossed! Apparently, Colors TV’ hit serial, Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, on 15th July completed their 300th episode and the whole cast and crew went into celebration mood upon announcing! Besides following the trajectory of typical daily soap opera, the makers of Shakti dealt with a rather unusually as per general serials are concerned. Not spilling the spoilers but the protagonist is a transgender, who kept her secret identity until she got married to Harman Singh. And when the secret was revealed, then it created chaos in her life. The new approach and new subject are well received by the audience and hence show reached to its success!
And upon completing 300 episode, the cast including Rubina Dilaik, Vivian Dsena, Kamya Punjabi, Sudesh Berry and crew enjoyed to their fullest, with a cake cutting event, chats-gossip and apparently sing and dancing too. Considering the kind of popularity and success it achieved, it would be a surprise if this serial would cross 500 episode bar!
