Sushmita Mukherjee bags a new Star Plus show
The show is inspired by the seminal work of acclaimed Hindi writer, Harishankar Parsai.

We have already reported about well-known television producer Saurabh Tewari making a show for Star Plus! The untitled show will be based on celebrated Hindi writer Harishankar Parsai’s work. The latest update on the project is that popular actress Sushmita Mukherjee has come onboard to play a pivotal role. The actress has impressed the audience with her terrific work in many Hindi films and television.
Aside from Sushmita Mukherjee , the show will also feature Gaurav Sareen (Ek Deewana Tha) fame and Megha Chakraborty (Peshwa Bajirao) in lead roles. “Sushmita will play a key role in the Star Plus show. She will be the aunt of the female lead,” reveals a source.
When contacted, the actress confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I am part of the show. But you will have to call me later as I am busy now.”
