So, another show is being axed within months of its premiere! Yes, the TV series Kuldeepak, which airs on &TV, will soon bid adieu to the audience. Featuring actors Kirti Nagpure and Vansh Maheshwari in important roles, the show was launched on 27th March this year and promised to offer something new to the audience, but despite presenting a unique storyline, it failed to generate required TRPs and attract the audience. Since TRP of the show has been on the lower side ever since its premiere, the channel has now decided to take the show off air.
Recently, TV circuit was buzzing with the news that the makers were planning to introduce a leap in the show. Some even said that the casting process was on for the lead actor to play young Chirag on the show post leap. But now the news is coming in that the makers have changed their mind and the show is going off air for sure. A source close to the development informed an entertainment portal, “The leap is cancelled and the channel is pulling the show off air this month. Shardul Pandit, who plays father to the kid protagonist (Vansh Maheshwari) on the soap, is not keen on playing a father to an elder one onscreen.”
While Shardul denies being informed about the latest development, the source adds that the entire cast and crew has been already informed about the show going off air.
