Aamna Sharif reveals what she is really passionate about

Aamna Sharif has been a popular name in showbiz for a long time now. In a career spanning across two decades, the talented actress has explored television, films, and now OTT. In a time when several actors go into oblivion in no time, Sharif has been an industry mainstay for such a long time just because of her passion for her craft.

Talking to a publication, the talented actress said that she is passionate about acting and telling stories that she strongly feels about. “I am passionate about acting and telling stories that I feel strongly about. Where it airs is not something I consider before choosing a project. So, I work on projects based on what appeals to me rather than what medium it is on, and maybe that's why I have been able to foray into different platforms,” she told the publication.

Aamna Sharif rose to fame after starring in Ekta Kapoor’s Kahiin Toh Hoga where her pairing with Rajeev Khandelwal was one of the major highlights of the show. The actress played a vamp in Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The actress also impressed audiences with her performance as a docile housewife in Mohit Suri’s 2014 film Ek Villain. Sharif can currently be seen in the streaming show Damaged S3.
