In an interview, Gaurav Khanna said he is a very realistic guy and that the value one is taking home from work is warranted if one is honest about their work. He asserted that there is a survival of the fittest principle and that every profession has its highs and lows. He claimed that having talent will help one stay alive in the business. He further added, "If I get a lot of fame and adulation, I think that’s so much more than a person who will be earning twice or even five times of what I would probably make. The love from the audiences and the accolades that I get for my performance, cannot compete with any monetary value. But, I’ve never judged my work that way."
