The ongoing narrative of the show continues to captivate viewers' hearts. With Maya's departure, Anupamaa finds solace within her family's embrace. However, a formidable force named Malti Devi emerges, causing turmoil for Anupamaa and her children. Despite Malti Devi's efforts, Anupamaa chooses to remain with her family instead of departing for the US.

Malti Devi, nursing her wounded pride, resolves to exact revenge on Anupamaa. Her vendetta leads her to target Anupamaa's children. Samar and his wife, Dimpy, are offered a job opportunity by Malti Devi. Manipulated by her resentment towards Anupamaa and the Shah family, Dimpy influences Samar into a contractual agreement with Malti Devi.

Anupamaa's unwavering support for Samar and Dimpy persists, even as Dimpy's disrespectful demeanor escalates, targeting the elders of the Shah household. A newly released promo offers a glimpse into Anupamaa's confrontation with Dimpy.

In the promo, Dimpy levels accusations of duplicity against the Shahs, including Baa and Bapuji. Anupamaa's fury erupts as she slaps Dimpy in defense of Baa and Bapuji's honor. Anupamaa's directive is clear: Dimpy and Samar are to depart from the Shah residence.

Dimpy, however, proposes an alternative arrangement—cohabiting within the same household, yet maintaining separate living spaces. Anupamaa takes a resolute stance, declaring the division of the house, thereby establishing distinct spheres for the Shahs and Dimpy-Samar.

In a significant milestone, Rupali Ganguly's portrayal of Anupamaa marks its 1000th episode. To celebrate this achievement, a ceremonial Havan took place on the set in Filmcity, Goregaon, followed by a delightful brunch.
