ANUPAMAA UPDATE: Shahs and Kapadia families are in the midst of intense conflict; relationship status is uncleared

Beginning the day, Babuji continues to counsel Anupamaa to look after herself and her family, which includes Anuj and chhoti Anu. Anupamaa is asked to make a New Year's resolution to focus more on the Kapadia family and less on the Shah family as Anuj becomes exceedingly "helplessly emotional" in front of everyone.

All the couples in the house eventually part ways with Anuj and Anupamaa by holding hands as they leave. Vanraj Shah claims that everything Anuj had informed them was accurate once they got home. Vanraj chooses not to involve Anuj and Anupamaa in the Shah family's issues any more because they are his parents', his family's, and his concerns. He declares his choice not to accept the lucrative job offer from Delhi in the same sentence. Kaavya is enraged by this and informs Vanraj that she would 'reveal her decision' shortly.

All of the couples in the two houses exhibit conflicted emotions in the midst of this. Adhik chooses to let the past be the past and give their relationship a fresh start after Paakhi asks for his forgiveness. In contrast, Ankush drowns himself in booze while berating his wife Barkhaa for failing to support him during difficult times. Instead of going to bed every night with all of his tensions in his thoughts, Babuji tells his wife Baa that he would like to "sleep forever." Toshu becomes upset when Kinjal assigns responsibility for everything and tells her that he has always strived to improve himself, but she ignores him. Anupamaa, who is sandwiched between them all, makes an effort to speak with Anuj. Anuj steps away from her and asks her to give him some space.
