Ashish Dixit, not Altamash Faraz, roped in for Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming show Parineeti

Rumours were doing the rounds lately that handsome hunk Altamash Faraz was onboard to play the male lead on Colors’ upcoming show Parineeti, produced by content czarina Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms.
However, if fresh reports are to be believed, it is not Altamash Faraz but Ashish Dixit who has bagged the plum role. Yes, you read that absolutely right! No further information is, however, available on his casting at the moment.
Parineeti was initially titled Prem Bandini. However, the makers then decided to change its title before releasing the promo.
If the promo of the upcoming show is anything to go by, Parineeti revolves around two best friends who end up marrying the same boy. The makers have tried not to reveal too much about the plot of the show.
The promo has received a positive response from the audience with some of them speculating its concept is similar to Arjit Taneja's Bahu Begum. Whether the show is based on the same topic or not, we will get to know only after it hits the airwaves.
