Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Grover couldn't resist a dig at Shark Tank India Season 3 promo, which boasts an impressive lineup of 12 sharks. His caption, “Shark Tank 3 is ‘audition’ of sharks for Shark Tank 4! Life mein ek lesson hai - don’t change and make unnecessary problem of something which is already solved. Wish quantity solves for quality!” suggested a subtle dissatisfaction with the increased numbers.

This jibe stems from the noticeable rise in the number of sharks the upcoming season. The recent promo highlighted the inclusion of Ritesh Agarwal, Varun Dua, Deepinder Goyal, Azhar Iqubal, Radhika Gupta, and Ronnie Screwvala as the 6 new Sharks of Shark Tank India Season 3, doubling the number from the previous season.

Following Grover's comments, social media erupted with fans echoing his sentiments. One user expressed, “It just is not the same without Ashneer Grover (shrug emoji),” while another lamented, “Show was dead after s1.” Meanwhile, speculations about the changing dynamics within the show surfaced, with a user suggesting, “Maybe the sharks' purse this time is less, hence they want different sharks to pitch in at different times to invest (sweat face emoji).”
