Ever since producer Ekta Kapoor announced Naagin 6 on Bigg Boss 15, fans have been keeping a close eye on even the minutest detail related to the much-anticipated supernatural revenge drama. One question that every fan of the show has in their mind is: who will be the new Naagin?
From Rubina Dilaik and Mahima Makwana to Mahek Chahel and Ridhima Pandit, several names have been doing the rounds in the tinsel town of television for the role of the shape-shifting snake. And if fresh reports are to be believed, Bigg Boss 15 fame Ieshaan Sehgal is in consideration to play the lead on the show. Yes, you heard that absolutely right!
Sources in the know divulge that Sehgaal has indeed been approached for Naagin 6. However, it is still uncertain if he is being considered for the role of the protagonist or antagonist. Sources add that the show requires two male leads and there has been no casting for the role of the main villain as well.
It would be a win-win situation for Sehgaal no matter which role he ends up bagging eventually. “There is immense secrecy around the matter. This is why he is lying low,” a source in the know lets on.
The news is also coming in that actor Ashish Trivedi has been roped in for a pivotal role. He has previously been part of projects like Crime and Confession and Skulls and Roses.
The promo of Naagin 6 is already out and now everyone is waiting for the makers to raise the curtain on the primary cast of the show.
