In Bigg Boss 16," the competition for a spot in the finale week has already gotten more intense. The "Weekend ka Vaar" showed that Tina Datta, Shalin Bhanot, and Soundarya Sharma had received the audience's least support from the audience, amid strong competition among housemates for the final ticket. One of the most hotly debated subjects both inside and outside the Bigg Boss 16 house during her time on the show was her relationship with former competitor Gautam Singh Vig. When Gautam left the Bigg Boss 16 house, he was blamed for ruining Soundarya's character, but he later rejected those claims.

Soundarya replied, "I am sure Gautam did not say those things, when speaking about the same matter. Why would he? Though I didn't know them prior to the show, I first met Gautam and Shalin (Bhanot) there. Because of this, I am unsure of what they said about me and why. Gautam is still someone I respect. Since I just came outside, I am unaware of any conversations that may have taken place regarding him or myself.
