She was evicted from the Bigg Boss house while Shalin Bhanot continued his journey.

In her recent interview, Tina Datta said, "Had I not met him or been friends with him on the show, my journey would have been so different and nice. Shalin raised a finger at my character and was so aggressive that he tried to hit me once, but when I tried to bring out his real image to the public, that backfired against me. Probably he is a better actor than a better person. I always thought that no one could put up an act on a reality show like Bigg Boss for so long, but Shalin has proved me wrong. He has acted for so many months. Hats off to him."

She also mentioned that she would not like to meet Shalin Bhanot again and clarified that there was no equation or bond among them. As she left the house, she thanked her fans for their support by sharing an Instagram post. She penned a note on the post. The note states, "Tribe Tina. I'm overwhelmed and counting all my blessings! You all are treasured gems that I will forever cherish. These 4 months were not easy, but your support was my strength. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! LOVE and MORE LOVE to you all!!"
